Title: Geostatistics Rio 2000 ([EBook] :) : Proceedings of the Geostatistics Sessions of the 31st International Geological Congress, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 6–17 August 2000 // edited by M. Armstrong, C. Bettini, N. Champigny, A. Galli, A. Remacre. Dewey Class: 551 Added Personal Name: Armstrong, M. editor. Bettini, C. editor. Champigny, N. editor. Galli, A. editor. Remacre, A. editor. Publication: Dordrecht : : Springer Netherlands : : Imprint: Springer,, 2002. Other name(s): SpringerLink (Online service) Physical Details: IX, 237 p. : online resource. Series: Quantitative Geology and Geostatistics,0924-1973 ;; 12 ISBN: 9789401717014 System details note: Online access to this digital book is restricted to subscription institutions through IP address (only for SISSA internal users) Summary Note: Geostatistics Rio 2000 includes fifteen contributions, five of which are on applications in petroleum science and ten are on mining geostatistics. These contributions were presented at the 31st International Geological Congress, held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 6-17 August, 2000. Stochastic simulation was the key theme of these case studies. A wide range of methods was used: truncated gaussian and plurigaussian, SIS and SGS, boolean methods and multi-point attractors. Audience: The volume will be of value to scientists, researchers, and professionals in geology, mining engineering, petroleum engineering, mathematics and statistics, as well as those working for mining and oil companies.: Contents note: 1 Using Quantitative Outcrop Databases As a Guide for Geological Reservoir Modelling -- 2 Quantification of facies relationships via proportion curves -- 3 Geologic Modelling of External and Internal Reservoir Architecture of Fluvial Depositional Systems -- 4 Impact of Seismic Constraints on a Stochastic Reservoir Model and Fluid Flow Simulation -- 5 Practical Workflows for Reservoir Modelling -- 6 Simulating the Geometry of a Granite-hosted Uranium Orebody -- 7 Simulation of Weathered Iron Ore Facies: Integrating Leaching Concepts and Geostatistical Models -- 8 Geostatistical Simulation of Structurally Controlled Low Grade High Tonnage Gold Ores: A Strategy for Targeting Genuine Enriched Zones -- 9 Geostatistical Frameword for Modelling Clay Deposits: Nova Veneza Case Study in Southern Brazil -- 10 Risk Assessment of Reserve Calculation during Milestones of a Mine Life -- 11 Successfull Incorporation of Geological Controls into Reserve Evaluation: Recent Examples from Giant Copper Mines in Chile -- 12 Geological Conditions for a Correct Geostatistical Evaluation: Example from the Elatsite Copper Deposit in Bulgaria -- 13 Evaluation of Kriging and Cokriging for Asbestos Ore Reserve Estimation at the Cana Brava Mine, Goiás, Brazil -- 14 Geostatistical Evaluation of the Mineral Resources of the Cajati Mine, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil -- 15 Variographic Trends of Gold in the Alluvial Sediments Associated with the Quartz Lodes in the Princesa Isabel Region, Paraiba, Brazil -- List of color figures. ------------------------------ *** Non c'è alcun posseduto per questo Record *** -----------------------------------------------
